Nashville based youth organization Impact Youth Outreach has announced its partnership with multi-platinum recording artist and Nashville native, Jelly Roll. The partnership is working together to change the narrative surrounding at-risk youth, create opportunities and scholarships, develop after school and summer enrichment initiatives, and push for legislative changes surrounding this population of kids.
The project, called Hometown Heroes, is offering 10 $5k scholarships to area seniors for their post secondary journey, hosted Thanksgiving dinner at DCJDC, opening a music studio behind the walls, starting a music education program at DCJDC, and developing a community center.
